Bonus Episode - Sudo Plank Challenge Tutorial
# Sudo JourneySudo is always full of challenges. The stress accumulated over the course of a day suddenly erupts after work, appearing in all kinds of forms. This time, let’s take a look at Sudo’s after-work routine.
“Come on, let’s do a plank showdown!”
This time, the banner of provocation was raised by the RD team leader. With the engineer’s signature brevity, he actually went out looking for an opponent for a rare change.
About a year ago, Keke and the boss made a “six-pack bet,” wagering whether a six-pack or an abdominal V-line could be developed within a year. Looks like this time’s outbreak of hostilities came well prepared! Let’s keep watching.
Does the degree of muscularity correlate with coding ability? Put that question aside for now—the answer will be revealed at the end.
The challengers this time were:
Keke (RD), Andy (Sales), Eric (COO), Peter (Designer)
Plank Tutorial Opening Moves:
- Keep your back straight
- Tighten your abs
- Squeeze your glutes
- Tuck your chin
Basically, the four main principles are as above. Once the rules are set, the game can begin!
5 4 3 2 1 … GO
Last Place
Looks like the training results weren’t that obvious after all (laughs). The one who started the challenge ended up surrendering first. At the same time, we also learned an important lesson: “You can’t have both coding and muscle-building.”
Alright, jokes aside, as engineers who sit in front of a computer screen all day, we should still maintain a regular exercise routine so we don’t end up with poor circulation and chronic muscle soreness. sitting is smoking
Remember to keep your eyes level with the monitor, so you don’t end up with neck pain and similar issues!
At Sudo, if you’re looking down at your screen, the CEO will even come over to check on you and ask whether you want to buy a 24-inch monitor and a computer stand. And yes, he really will buy it for you!
Second to Last
Our designer may look pretty muscular, but he wasn’t really all that! At the beginning he even deliberately wore a jacket to make himself look bulkier and sneak in a little advantage, but even after getting that edge, he still didn’t last any longer. Having muscles doesn’t necessarily mean having strength; apparently design and muscle-building can’t be had together either!
Second Place
This person looks tall and slim, yet unexpectedly took second place in the plank contest.
It really proves that coding ability and muscular development are inversely proportional
First Place
The winner has been decided: our COO Eric takes the crown! In the first few minutes he was almost completely unbothered, not even breaking a sweat, and kept blowing air at Andy to throw off the enemy. Although it was a bit unsporting, the victory was still well deserved!
Carrying the company on his shoulders and carrying his family too—no wonder a man with shoulders is different
Really, very different.
Final Word
Scenes like these are already rare enough for Sudo. All kinds of bizarre and outlandish things happen here.
Standard workplace rules don’t apply here, but every energetic you is welcome.
