The Second Step into the Workplace
# Sudo JourneyThe Second and Third Steps into the Workplace
This post is a bit shorter this time, so I’m bundling it together with the third step!
Step 2 - Endure the Evil Mother-in-Law’s Attacks
At Sudo, there’s a notorious sister who loves to bully people and isn’t afraid of authority figures (because she is the authority).
One of her favorite pastimes is bullying the RD Team interns. After plenty of back-and-forth experience, we’ve already found the best response: “Silence is golden.”
From the image, you can see our design intern vividly captured Sudo sister’s evil grin. It’s the signature smirk she wears when one of her schemes or plans succeeds, while tilting her head upward at an angle of 87.87 degrees.
This seemingly glamorous Sudo sister actually has plenty of hidden sides. She’s the perfect example of why you should never judge a book by its cover.
Let’s expose her misdeeds — take a look.
Clearly nothing like a cigarette holder at all.
That said, this sister doesn’t just know how to bully people.
She has handled the planning of many of Sudo’s events, big and small, and is familiar with all the best venues around Taipei. During negotiations, she can also quietly drive the budget down to the bare minimum. But the quality always exceeds your expectations — from the flow, venue, food, and transportation… every detail has already been handled for you behind the scenes. All that’s left is to enjoy the event to the fullest!
Step 3 - Going to an Internet Café with the Co-founders
“A bunch of guys hanging out together? Of course we’re going to the internet café. What else would we do?”
Huh? That’s not quite what I expected.
In the workplace, going to an internet café with your boss is no longer a strange sight at Sudo. Thanks to the co-founders’ long-term patronage, they’re members at nearly every major location across Taiwan.
Yielding to authority, naive little me simply stepped onto a path of no return.
Sometimes, on a free Friday night, it becomes our fighting night. More often than not, with a single command from Andy or Eric, the Sudo squad would set off just like that. We’ve played Age of Empires, Half-Life, StarCraft… we’re only somewhat familiar with all of these games.
Outside of work, we also know how to relax.
Of course, it’s not just gaming — they also know how to work out! In the next bonus article, we’ll introduce the plank training tutorials of Sudo’s various hunks. Want to know who Sudo’s top hunk is? Stay tuned!
